coincident.io.download.download_files(files, output_dir, product='', chunk_size=65536, earthdata_auth=False)#

Download files from remote URLs (cloud storage, web servers, etc.) Used in the download_dem and fetch_lpc_tiles functions

Parameters:

  • files (list) – A list of file urls to download

  • output_dir (str) – The directory path where files will be saved.

  • product (str, optional) – Product name used for customizing the progress description.

  • chunk_size (int, optional) – The chunk size to use when streaming downloads (default is 64KB).

  • earthdata_auth (bool, optional) – Whether to use NASA Earthdata authentication (default False).

Returns:

Files are saved to the specified path.

None
