coincident.io.sliderule.sample_3dep(gf, project_name=None)

Sample 3DEP 1-meter DEM with POINT geometries in GeoDataFrame.

Points should be (longitude, latitude) not UTM

Parameters:

• gf (gpd.GeoDataFrame) – A GeoDataFrame containing POINT geometries in EPSG:4326

• project_name (str) – A WESM project name to restrict results to (e.g. “CO_WestCentral_2019_A19”)

Returns:

A GeoDataFrame with sampled elevation data from the 3DEP 1-meter DEM.

Return type:

gpd.GeoDataFrame
